Classic and restored Datsun 240Z. Purchased new in 1972. Original Owner! I purchased this 1972 Datsun 240Z new the same year and have cherished it ever since. I am the original owner. I’ve always wanted a sports car and when I was able to afford one, this was my choice. Coincidentally, I was employed at General Motors Assembly Division in South Gate, California when I made the purchase in 1972. I’ve always liked to be different and stand out from the crowd. This car has deep memories for me. I’ve traveled throughout California and Nevada I raised two beautiful daughters’ who experienced traveling in it until they were too big to fit in passenger seat. It’s been a very reliable car and very easy to work on. It has an ageless design and still draws lots of attention whenever I go cruisin’ and I’ve won several 1st & 2nd place awards attending different car shows.
